GovCIO is currently hiring for an IT Recruiter to join our Health and Civilian Talent Acquisition team. This position will be located within the United States and will be a fully remote opportunity.
Develop and maintains strong direct relationships with hiring managers from the requisition through Hire
Receives and carefully reviews requisitions for accuracy, post and market career opportunities via web and social media platforms.
Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to source and prescreen candidate
Participate and/or schedules interviews, assists managers with quality assuring requisite skills match, discusses and verifies clearances, negotiates contingent and firm offer letters, and tracks all requisition and candidate activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Communicates with hiring manager on the status of requisitions, candidate quality checks with skills matrixes, develops unique candidate pipelines in the ATS, and ensures all incoming candidate applications are dispositioned within 24 hours.
Maintains contact with hard to find skilled candidates using various communication techniques to ensure candidates who are interested are kept within various pipelines.
Attend on-site and virtual hiring events when needed
Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
5+ years of staffing/recruiting experience
- Hands on experience with at least one of the following job boards (LinkedIn/LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, Clearance Jobs, Zip Recruiter
- Demonstrated experience supporting high volume hiring needs
- Clearance Required: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain Public Trust or an active security clearance
Federal Civilian agency recruiting experience (i.e. Hands on experience or knowledge of Microsoft Copilot is key
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Knowledge of EEOC policies
