Residential landscaping crew member

Contractor Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Participate in landscape bed preparation including tilling and/or cultivating soil, adding soil amendments, raking and edging.
• Install new plants: plant placement per design, drilling/digging holes. Hole preparation to receive plants, and preparing specimens for planting.
• Plant maintenance: including fertilization, mulching, pre-emergents, watering, trimming and/or pruning.
• Maintain assigned tools and supplies; keep them clean and in good working order. Report any needed repairs or replacements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Clean, blow off and/or wipe down equipment at the end of the workday.

Contractor Expectations:

• Be on time and ready to work.
• Dress appropriately and with safety in mind.
• Be prepared with personal hydration, lunch and snacks.
• Be respectful of tools, company vehicles, customer’s property, customer’s pets and fellow workers.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be a team player.
• Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.

Additional Contractor Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Lift 80 pounds
• Good physical conditions and stamina
• Must be willing to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Display a teamwork mentality.
• Display willingness to learn.
• Must pay high attention to details and have excellent organizational skills.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
