Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Openwork is hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Equipment Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing facility in Dallas. This is a great opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, preventing downtime, and working with advanced sheet metal fabrication machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Inspect machinery for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
• Maintain maintenance logs and repair documentation.
• Monitor and organize maintenance tools and spare parts inventory.
• Recommend equipment improvements and efficiency upgrades.
• Train operators on basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for specialized repairs and replacement parts.

Qualifications:

• 2–4+ years of industrial equipment maintenance experience required.
• Experience in a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, machinery manuals, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial equipment systems preferred.
• Ability to lift equipment and remain active throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational maintenance training preferred.
