What You'll Do

As a Painter Level 1, you'll support the industrial painting process by preparing products, assisting with paint application, and ensuring finished products meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and staging materials
• Assist with industrial wet spray paint application under the guidance of experienced painters
• Learn to operate and adjust industrial spray equipment
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and coating specifications
• Perform visual inspections to ensure high-quality finishes
• Maintain accurate production documentation and work order tracking
• Clean and maintain spray equipment, tools, and work areas
• Handle paint materials safely while following OSHA and company safety standards
• Assist with inventory and material movement throughout the production process
• Work closely with supervisors and teammates to meet daily production goals
• Support continuous improvement efforts while developing your technical skills

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of manufacturing or industrial experience (painting experience is a plus but not required)
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout an entire shift
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial painting or coating experience
• Manufacturing or HVAC industry experience
• Experience using hand tools and shop equipment
• Forklift experience or certification
• Understanding of industrial safety practices
