Job Overview

Empowered to provide the first positive impression to guests arriving at the property, giving the guests and clients of Chula Vista Resort the most accurate, friendly, and highest level of guest satisfaction throughout their stay. The Front Desk will fulfill the related goals and objectives of the resort while displaying hospitality and professionalism at all times, taking pride in representing Chula Vista Resort.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome each guest as they arrive.
• Perform check‑in and check‑out procedures for guests.
• Provide accurate information and prompt answers to any questions guests may have about the resort and local area.
• Create the highest guest satisfaction possible by keeping a clean, organized, well‑stocked work area.
• Complete other assigned duties.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company associates to foster and promote a positive working environment.
• Handle problems and difficult situations calmly and attentively, collecting information and sincerely helping to resolve them.
• Coordinate with other departments to serve guests' needs.
• Determine, communicate, and monitor personal and department achievements and performance standards on a daily basis.

Experience and Qualifications

No experience required; training will be provided to the right applicant.

The ability to work effectively with other people and staff positions is essential. Must be trainable, receptive to instruction, and possess a good attitude toward the job and guests. Must always appear polite, concerned, and focused on the best interest of guests.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
• Body positions: sitting or standing for at least an 8‑hour shift or more.
• Full use of eyes and ears, full speech.
• Full use of walking, turning head and torso, bending arms, wrists, and fingers.

Mental Requirements

• Mathematics:

Routine math calculations.

• Language:

Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
