Role and Responsibilities of Front Counter Cashier:

In the role of a Front Counter Cashier, your upbeat energy, friendly demeanor, and quick response time play a pivotal role in attracting customers for their dining needs repeatedly. You will receive training for the fundamental job competencies required for success, regardless of your prior experience

  • Interact in a friendly and welcoming manner with clients to effectively engage and communicate.
  • Skillfully manage cash registers to accept payments and process transactions correctly.
  • Help customers with digital ordering services and Mobile App Rewards, creating a strong fan base for our brand.
  • Make our signature beverages and frosty desserts flawlessly.
  • Undertake positional cleaning responsibilities to uphold cleanliness and create an inviting space.
  • Optimize the functioning of both payment and retrieval areas for improved efficiency.
  • Sort and bundle dine-in and drive-thru requests with attention to detail.
  • Handle cash, credit, and check transactions by providing customers with the right change and a receipt for their purchase.
  • Administer transactions to verify that pricing and quantities are correct.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby section, restock straws, napkins, and condiments for customer convenience.
  • Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping tables and beverage stations.
  • Efficiently handle returns and refunds, and address customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Restock napkins, condiments, and utensils as needed throughout the shift.
  • Consistently follow all safety and health measures and recommendations.
  • Help with the opening or closing steps as needed.

Required Skills and Experience of Front Counter Cashier:

  • Favorable vibes, motivation, and a sense of haste.
  • Proficient in communication and adept at providing exceptional customer service.
  • Capability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Sound mathematical skills are vital for ensuring precision in cash handling and transactional accuracy.
  • Capability to effectively navigate and operate cash registers and POS systems.
  • Balancing multiple duties adeptly amidst a fast-paced backdrop.
  • Aptitude to uphold a standing position for extended periods of time during work hours.
  • Desire to acquire new skills and follow directions.
  • Having a collaborative approach and a mindset geared towards teamwork.
  • Requirement to be available for shifts that may vary between mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications for Front Counter Cashier:

  • Former experience as a cashier or in customer-facing positions, specifically in food service or retail.
  • Operational knowledge of both POS systems and cash register functionalities.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
