Master Carpenter

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including construction, restoration, and installation. This role requires a hands-on approach to building and repairing structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. The Carpenter will work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial constructions.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.
• Perform mold remediation and water damage restoration tasks as needed.
• Fabricate custom cabinetry and furniture according to specifications.
• Execute maintenance person services including minor electrical work, minor plumbing, and general repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete projects.
• Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong skills in cabinet installation and general carpentry tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
