About the role
Beast Industries is building the operating system for creator monetization — the connective tissue between the world's biggest creators and the brands that want to reach their audiences. Vyro is our brand-creator marketplace, and we believe there's a real opportunity to do something here that no one else in the space is set up to do.
Where's the real incrementality — and how much is it worth?
We're hiring a Data Science Lead, reporting to the CTO, to design and run the experiments that will help us answer it. You’ll start as a senior individual contributor and help build a quant team over time. You'll build a portfolio of incrementality tests, lift studies, measurement frameworks, and whatever else helps drive the platform forwards. You should expect many of our strongest beliefs about creator marketing to be wrong - a key part of this role is designing experiments that overturn assumptions and help us discover what actually drives outcomes.
This is an early role on a new team still finding its shape. You'll work directly with leadership, sit close to the engineers and product people building Vyro, and have a direct line to the creative talent that powers Beast. You'll be one of the people figuring this out from scratch, alongside the team behind the most-watched creator on the planet.
What you'll do
Help us run our first real campaigns and learn from them — fast. Design tests that get useful answers in weeks and tighten the methodology with each iteration.
Build the measurement playbook as we go: holdouts, geo-experiments, matched markets, retargeting studies, creative variant testing — picking the right tool for the question in front of us, not the most elegant one in the textbook.
Partner with our buy-side operators on retargeting strategy, turning campaign exposure data into audiences and quantifying what those audiences are worth.
Translate findings into clear, brand-facing case studies and internal product decisions, and iterate to sharpen the next sales conversation or product bet.
Drive adoption of measurement frameworks across sales, creator partnerships, and leadership.
Work directly with creators, creative leads, sales, and engineering. Help generate and evaluate hypotheses about what makes sponsored content actually convert: pacing, placement, call-to-action, narrative integration, and the subtler factors no one has quantified yet.
Help us figure out where creator data should and shouldn't flow and determine where our long-term advantage lives.
In your first 6-12 months, you'll have:
Established the measurement foundations needed to support experimentation, attribution, and campaign performance analysis, including instrumentation, core datasets, and data quality standards.
Designed and shipped Vyro's first incrementality studies across our earliest brand campaigns.
Authored a measurement playbook our sales team uses in brand conversations.
Established the baseline metrics leadership uses to evaluate creator-brand match quality and platform ROI.
Built the foundation of a quant practice.
Required qualifications:
7+ years of professional experience in data science, ad measurement, or a similar analytics role with a strong emphasis on providing experiments that shipped and influenced decisions.
Demonstrated ability to independently scope, execute, and communicate analytical work in ambiguous environments with limited existing infrastructure.
Proficiency in Python/R for statistical analysis and modelling, and fluency in SQL.
Experience with data collection, APIs, and integration requirements across digital platforms.
Practical working knowledge of incrementality testing, causal inference fundamentals, and the limits of last-click attribution.
Experience in one of the following environments: (a) a platform creator-monetization or partnerships team, (b) a measurement / incrementality / MMM vendor, (c) an in-house or agency brand measurement team running creator or influencer programs.
