Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Efficiently and cautiously load, transport and unload product according to daily delivery schedule. Provide excellent customer service and build customer loyalty by delivering product in a timely and respectable manner. This employee should not only prioritize efficiency but also ensure the integrity of the final product by preventing damage when handling.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ensure delivery truck is kept clean and the gas tank is filled above ½ tank at the end of each day.
• Keep truck filled with diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) at all times.
• Communicate via 2-way radio with assigned ASC regarding jobsite conditions and completion of delivery.
• Provide assigned ASC and Warehouse Supervisor with proof of delivery upon completion. Picture of delivered product must be emailed to both.
• Adhere to various jobsite safety requirements.
• Hardhats, back brace and steel toe shoes must be worn at all times.
• Use of proper provided equipment to ensure a safe and secure delivery of product. (Dollies, Carts, Suction Cups, etc.)
• Uniforms must be clean and properly worn as per your signed Uniform Agreement.
• Ensure loads are properly strapped and all product is secured.
• Report any product damage immediately per SOP. Dimensions, vendor information and pictures should be provided when reporting.
• Keep tabs on vehicle maintenance. (Oil change, tires, exhaust fluid, etc.)
• Ability to assist in heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Confirm all product for your daily schedule is loaded into delivery truck accordingly.
• Ensure all paperwork is checked for accuracy and filed properly upon completion of your daily scheduled route. (Use order acknowledgments, packing lists and daily delivery schedule to ensure order/product is dropped off accurately)
• Must keep a positive and professional attitude.
• Create and maintain good relations with customers, builders, and all other trades on jobsite.
