Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support laboratory and cleanroom testing activities that ensure product quality, contamination control, and regulatory compliance. This entry-level role performs environmental monitoring, microbiological and chemical testing, sample processing, and quality documentation while working in a controlled GMP laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine Environmental Monitoring (EM), including viable and non-viable sampling in ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms.
- Follow cleanroom gowning procedures and contamination control requirements.
- Conduct laboratory testing, including Bioburden, Bacterial Endotoxin (LAL), Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Conductivity, and USP particulate matter testing.
- Prepare, handle, incubate, and document microbiological samples and test results.
- Perform growth promotion testing and media sterility verification.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records in compliance with SOPs, GMP, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Assist with investigations involving deviations, non-conformances, OOS results, and CAPA activities.
- Support environmental and laboratory data trending, routine reporting, and escalation of abnormal results.
- Participate in daily team meetings and collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Facilities teams.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and updates to laboratory procedures and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Microbiology, Biology, or a related Life Science.
- Basic knowledge of microbiology laboratory techniques and aseptic practices.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated laboratory environment and follow established procedures.
