Respiratory Nurse (LPN/RN) – Specialized Respiratory Care Unit

Join Our Specialized Respiratory Care TeamWe are seeking compassionate and clinically skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing Respiratory Care Unit.

As a Respiratory Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to residents requiring respiratory support, including tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, pulmonary treatments, and ventilator support.This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy working in a higher-acuity environment and are interested in developing specialized respiratory skills.

Previous respiratory experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to residents with respiratory and pulmonary conditions
• Monitor residents requiring ventilator support, tracheostomies, oxygen therapy, and respiratory treatments
• Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning procedures
• Administer prescribed medications, nebulizer treatments, and physician-ordered respiratory interventions
• Monitor ventilator function and escalate concerns to the appropriate clinical team
• Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory care needs
• Support emergency respiratory interventions when necessary

QualificationsRequired

• Current Pennsylvania LPN or RN license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Preferred

• Skilled Nursing Facility, Subacute, LTACH, Rehab, or Hospital experience
• Experience caring for residents with Ventilator support
