Job Title
Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) – ICF Homes, Hendersonville, NC
We are hiring for a positive and personable individual looking for a satisfying and fun opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with intellectual, developmental disabilities, and people facing mental health and substance use challenges.

Schedule:
All shifts, full time/part time/prn. Full‑time shifts are M‑F and require working every other weekend. 8‑hour shifts, 12‑hour shifts available. PRN shifts available.
Pay: $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Health and Safety Procedures
- Assist with People Supported Development
- Assist with Person Supported Community Life
- Provides Support to team members and supervisors
- Assists with person‑centered plan and outcomes
- Assists with medical requests
- Assist with data collection and reporting
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- High School Diploma
- Physical requirements to perform essential functions include: regularly required to lift 30 lbs.; must lift a minimum of 70 lbs.; must pull a minimum of 50 lbs.; able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; regularly stand and walk; demonstrate proficiency in CPR.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
Pre‑employment screening includes criminal background check, registry checks, drug testing, education verification, and credentialing based on position requirements.
Positions that require driving must provide proof of driver's license, insurance, and vehicle, if required for providing transportation.
