Registered Behavior Technician for Special Education

The RBT is a paraprofessional who may be assigned to a classroom, and who practices under the close, on-going supervision a BCBA or BCaBA (“designated RBT supervisor”). The RBT™ is primarily responsible for the direct implementation behavior analytic services including skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the RBT™ supervisor.
