The CDL Driver, under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, ensures safe and timely shuttle transportation of products between the manufacturing facility in Bern, KS, and the warehouse in Lawrence, KS, adhering to all relevant regulations and policies.
Essential duties include communicating with the logistics team, delivering and picking up products, maintaining accurate logs and equipment records, loading/unloading trucks, and operating truck and forklift equipment. The role requires compliance with safety, DOT, GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards, as well as reporting safety hazards and truck repairs.
Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED, a valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record, and proficiency with relevant software. Prior tractor/trailer experience is preferred. The position offers full-time employment with pay starting at $24/hour, requiring regular attendance and flexibility to assist other departments as needed.
