Job Responsibilities:

• Bake a wide variety of goods by closely following standard recipes and production guidelines.
• Prepare your workstation by gathering all essential baking tools and ingredients before starting.
• Prepare ingredients by accurately measuring, weighing, mixing, and chopping as needed.
• Safely operate commercial baking equipment such as mixers, stoves, and ovens.
• Use knives and other kitchen tools securely and responsibly during food preparation.
• Store all perishable items and food products correctly according to food safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by thoroughly sanitizing areas, tools, and utensils after use.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a welcoming, positive attitude with guests, clients, and colleagues.
• Follow all Aramark safety policies, ensuring strict compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Protect company assets by strictly adhering to established security protocols.

Qualifications:

• Candidates with a history of working in baking or related roles are preferred.
• Solid grasp of baking techniques, standards, and compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Certification: A mandatory requirement for food safety certification(s).
• Fundamental math and counting competencies are a requirement.
• Skilled in interpersonal communication, adept in expressing ideas clearly through both written and verbal means.
• Physical Specifications: Requires the ability to handle physical responsibilities, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing.
• The job might involve the wearing of specific uniforms and the utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
