Structural Welders Needed – Dalton, GA – $40/hr + $178 Daily Per Diem

A leading heavy lift and rigging project at a data center in Dalton, GA is now hiring experienced Structural Welders for a long-term industrial project. This is a high-hours opportunity working on heavy-duty metal structures, crane components, lifting gear, fabrication, repairs, and industrial maintenance in a fast-paced field environment.

Pay & Schedule

• $40.00/hour
• 72 hours per week available
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• $178/day Per Diem
• Per diem paid 7 days/week
• Start Date: 07/13/2026

Job Duties

• Structural steel welding
• Pipe welding and fabrication
• Industrial maintenance and repairs
• Equipment installation
• MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
• Field/mobile welding support
• Fabrication of metal components and assemblies
• Repair and maintenance of heavy-duty rigging and lifting equipment
• Reading blueprints and layout measurements
• Working in hot industrial environments
• Background & drug screening required

Requirements

• AWS D1.1 SMAW (Stick) 3G/4G Plate Test Certification Required
• Previous structural or industrial welding experience required
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
• Ability to work overtime and extended shifts
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in hot conditions
• Reliable transportation and ability to report on time daily
