Line Cook Farmhouse KitchenFarmhouse Delivery | Austin, TXFull-Time | Weekday Schedule (6AM - 2PM) or as needed.Farmhouse Delivery is a Texas-based food company focused on local sourcing, seasonal cooking, and thoughtfully made food at scale. Our kitchen supports prepared meals, meal kits, and value-added products that highlight the best of Texas farmers, ranchers, and makers.We re looking for a Line Cook who is passionate about local food, comfortable with batch cooking, and excited to work in a production-driven kitchen environment.What You ll Do- Execute daily food production for prepared meals and meal kits- Cook, portion, and pack food using standardized recipes and production plans- Perform bulk and batch cooking while maintaining quality and consistency- Follow food safety, labeling, and storage standards- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and shared kitchen spaces- Complete opening and/or closing duties- Communicate clearly with kitchen leadership regarding quality, inventory, or recipe questionsWhat We re Looking For- Passion for local, seasonal food and responsible sourcing- Experience with bulk or batch cooking in a high-volume kitchen- CPG or commissary kitchen experience preferred, but not required- Ability to follow written recipes, SOPs, and pack lists- Strong communication skills and attention to detail- Comfortable working independently and as part of a teamRequirements- 1+ year experience in a high-volume or production kitchen- Basic cooking knowledge and familiarity with common ingredients- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs- Non-slip shoes required- ServSafe or Travis County Food Handler s Card (or ability to obtain)Schedule- Full-Time (40 hrs/week)- Monday - Friday (6AM - 2PM)- Occasional evenings or weekends as neededPay & Benefits- $20 hour, based on experience- PTO + Paid Sick Leave- Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (after eligibility period)Farmhouse Delivery is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
