Pay

• PTA's can earn between $50-$55 Per diem (Full time PTA's earn between $50,000-$100,000 per year)

Responsibilities

• Provide gait training, balance training, and fall-prevention interventions
• Conduct therapeutic exercise programs
• Perform transfer training and mobility training
• Assist patients recovering from surgery, illness, injury, stroke, and hospitalization
• Recommend assistive devices and durable medical equipment when appropriate
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding mobility, safety, and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation

Equipment Provided

• Company-issued clinician bag
• Company-issued tablet for documentation, scheduling, and patient care management

Requirements

• Current and active Physical Therapist (PTA) license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
• Current TB clearance (TB test or chest X-ray, as applicable)
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Home health experience preferred, but not required
