Role and Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Assistant, you will support financial operations across multiple operating locations by assisting with reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role serves as a key partner to operations by delivering accurate financial information and supporting process improvements.

  • Execute monthly financial close activities and prepare financial reports for assigned operating regions as an Accounting Assistant
  • Coordinate and maintain accuracy within general ledger entries
  • Analyze and communicate significant financial variances related to budget and forecast
  • Prepare monthly financial outlooks covering the upcoming quarter
  • Conduct rate analysis and review pricing-related data
  • Present financial information in a clear and understandable manner to colleagues
  • Manage the transfer of financial data between corporate and remote locations
  • Assist with quarterly reviews and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance processes
  • Participate in the annual budgeting and financial planning process
  • Support training initiatives for non-finance staff related to internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial statement review
  • Travel occasionally, with potential relocation opportunities

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • One to three years of professional accounting experience
  • Experience supporting budgeting and fiscal planning activities
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of public accounting experience

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual salary range of $85,000 to $110,000
  • Bonus eligibility ranging from 0% to 10%
