CNC Operator 2nd Shift (4 Day/10 Hour Shifts)

At Martin Sprocket & Gear, we’re dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings with excellence, and we're looking for skilled CNC Machine Operators like you!
CNC Operation: Set up full production cycle and operate CNC Lathe machines for tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeding, and live tooling. (GD&T Application: Inspection Process: Follow in-process part inspection protocols and report non-conformance issues to the Supervisor/Lead.
Coordinate with superintendents, managers, production control, and quality personnel to resolve quality concerns.
Safety Compliance: Work safely and consistently wear required PPE throughout the shift.
Shift Documentation: Record and document issues for a seamless shift transition.
Perform daily maintenance checks and document findings.
Documentation Skills: Ability to accurately document machining procedures.
Experience with Okuma, Mazak, and Mori lathe machines (preferred).
Basic oral communication skills and the ability to read, comprehend, and complete logs and reports in English.
Policy Compliance: Availability to work scheduled hours and adhere to all company policies, including timekeeping.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment and stand for an entire shift.
Strong understanding of machining practices, materials, and general mechanical principles.
2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday, 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM
