Physical Requirements: Requires handling of average weights or objects up to 25 pounds with some sitting, standing, or walking.

Shift: 3/12 hour shifts per week – 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Some holiday and weekend work will be required per department needs.

Job Summary: The LPN is a member of the multidisciplinary ambulatory team responsible for patient care, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. Duties include starting IVs, simple wound dressings, and notifying the RN or LIP of any changes or abnormalities in the patient’s condition. The primary responsibilities encompass assessing, documenting, planning, implementing, teaching, developing, and evaluating a comprehensive nursing plan of care; delivering direct patient care; ensuring patient satisfaction; training and delegating duties for Nursing Care Technicians; and adhering to University policies, procedures, and federal, state, and local regulations.
