Industry: Cabinetry ManufacturingPosition OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring a 2nd Shift Floater for a growing cabinetry manufacturing company in Oklahoma City. We are seeking a dependable, hardworking candidate with production assembly experience and a broad manufacturing skill set. This individual will primarily assist experienced assemblers with building cabinetry units and will float to other departments, including crating and machine shop operations, as production needs change.The ideal candidate can read a tape measure, interpret shop prints, use power tools safely, and adapt to different tasks throughout the facility.Job Responsibilities· Assist experienced assemblers with the construction and assembly of cabinetry units· Read and interpret shop prints and production drawings· Accurately use tape measures and other measuring tools· Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently· Float between assembly, crating, machine shop, and other production departments as needed· Assist with material handling and production support tasks· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment· Follow all company safety and quality standardsRequirements· Previous production assembly or manufacturing experience required· Ability to read a tape measure accurately· Ability to read and understand shop prints and work instructions· Experience using hand and power tools· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills· Ability to adapt to different departments and job duties· Dependable attendance and reliable transportation· Ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods· Must be able to pass a drug screen· Must be able to pass a background checkAdditional Information· Starting pay is based on overall manufacturing experience and skill set· Opportunity to learn multiple areas of the operation· Stable Monday–Thursday schedule with three-day weekends· Long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity with growth potentialImportant Note – Safety Sensitive RoleThis position is classified as Safety Sensitive under Oklahoma law (O.S. § 63-427.8).
