  • On-site in Georgetown, Texas, just 30 minutes from Austin, with full relocation assistance available
  • $100,000 annually, paid each week, with health, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week, at one of the world's most forward-thinking schools

You believe a gifted six-year-old is capable of learning algebra, and that most traditional schools discourage her from even attempting it. If that idea unsettles you, this role is not a fit. If it's the reason you entered education, continue reading.

At gt.school, children do not sit passively through lessons. They engage with adaptive learning software designed to accelerate their learning five to ten times faster than conventional classrooms permit. This structure frees you to focus on the work that truly transforms a child: coaching life skills, inspiring them to pursue ambitious goals, and maintaining standards high enough to compel their growth. You are not delivering academic content. You are the reason a seven-year-old strives to surpass her previous achievement.

Your daily work centers on small cohorts rather than classes of thirty. You may facilitate a one-hour workshop on focus or public speaking in the morning, then conduct a one-on-one session in the afternoon with a student facing difficulty. You will leverage real analytics to identify the right incentive to re-engage a hesitant learner. When a child resists, your role is to bring them back without compromising expectations. Maintaining those expectations is how you communicate your belief in their ability to succeed.

Succeed with a cohort and opportunities expand. Lead Guides mentor the broader team on motivation and maintaining standards. Campus Leads oversee entire school operations. This position is the foundation of that trajectory.

Bring your drive and your high standards. Apply now.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Facilitate one-hour life skill workshops for small cohorts of gifted five- to eight-year-olds, teaching focus, self-regulation, public speaking, and feedback techniques
  • Conduct one-on-one and small-group sessions designed to motivate each student toward ambitious goals within their adaptive learning applications
  • Study the life skills curriculum and lesson plans, then present them with energy and narrative rather than reading from a script
  • Coordinate and administer Test2Pass mastery assessments, promoting only those students who have truly mastered the material
  • Analyze student profiles, interests, and Coachbot analytics to select the most effective incentive—such as school currency or leaderboards—for each individual child

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Delivering lectures from the front of a room. Academic instruction occurs through the software, and your role is to coach students as they engage with it
  • Creating or following a rigid curriculum. The adaptive apps adjust to each child, eliminating the need to teach to an average
  • Overseeing a classroom of thirty students. You will work with small cohorts where each child is individually recognized
  • Supervising children passively at screens. Passive monitoring is the antithesis of this position
  • Advancing students who have not demonstrated mastery simply to maintain favorable weekly metrics
