Senior Design Build Project Manager - Water Services

CDM Smith is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Design Build Project Manager to join our Water Services team. If you are an experienced, client-focused professional eager to support our growing Collaborative Project Delivery business, this role is for you!

As a key member of our team, you will:

• Manage multi-discipline planning, design, and construction teams for large water and wastewater treatment facilities, collection and distribution systems, and environmental and stormwater facilities.
• Lead projects valued at over $100 million from early concept development through detailed design and construction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with major municipal clients.
• Assist in the preparation and management of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) documents.
• Oversee project budgets and schedules while effectively managing risk.
• Promote design build best practices through constructability reviews and schedule compliance.
• Engage actively in professional societies related to our clients.

• A Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years of related experience.
• PMP, CCM, or DBIA certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
