Welder / Welding / Fabrication Welder

Tampa Brass & Aluminum Corp is seeking an experienced Combo Welder to perform weld repairs on castings in a foundry and manufacturing environment. This role focuses on repairing defects in cast brass and aluminum components to restore structural integrity and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in welding, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment.

Use GTAW (TIG) and other welding processes as required for casting repair

Grind, clean, and prepare castings prior to and after welding

Interpret blueprints, repair instructions, and welding symbols

Ensure repaired parts meet dimensional and quality requirements

Inspect work for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards

Maintain welding equipment and work area in safe, clean condition

3+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Strong experience with weld repair of castings (preferred over structural welding)
• additional welding processes a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

AWS certification (preferred but not required)

Experience in foundry or precision metal manufacturing environments

Heavy industrial foundry/manufacturing environment

Exposure to heat, noise, and metal processing operations
