Duties

• Perform Stick welding (SMAW) structural steel.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Follow strict adherence to ASME codes & standards for quality assurance and safety compliance during all welding activities.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites or manufacturing floors to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of fabrication processes in industrial or building environments.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; experience with welding preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and manufacturing practices.
• Construction experience involving ductwork or structural steel is highly desirable.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
