Dishwasher/Floor Tech

Our Floor Tech/Custodians play an essential role in keeping our bakery clean and safe. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong sense of integrity to care for and maintain the bakery premises. Duties include dishwashing, restroom maintenance, putting inventory in place, and cleaning bakery equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Arrives to work on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts
• Daily washing of baking dishes (including cake pans, mixing bowls, etc.)
• Daily cleaning of Mixing Room / Baking Department in preparation for next day use
• Daily taking out of trash from all departments; breaking down boxes and trash management
• Daily cleaning and restocking of restrooms (FOH and BOH)
• Daily refilling Paper Towel dispensers in all departments
• Daily sweeping, mopping and cleaning of floor mats (pressure washing)
• Some repairing of bakery equipment
• Works closely with Warehouse Manager to complete tasks
• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations

• Must be meticulously clean and aware of all food safety standards

Experience: Entry Level - no prior experience required / strong willingness to learn

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

• Must have the physical ability to carry out the functions of the job
• Standing/walking 7-8 hours (in an 8-hour workday)
• Must have the ability to lift 50lbs minimum
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, and other heavy machinery
• May require the use of ladders

**Position Type: Full Time Preferred

Required Availability:

• Tuesday - Saturday (closed Sundays & Mondays) 8am--5pm

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
