Description - What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct a wide range of clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established guidelines.
• Evaluate and verify results for accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Assist with sample collection and preparation for tests as necessary.
• Keep detailed documentation of procedures, train new employees or interns, and maintain lab quality standards.
• Ensure the laboratory is clean, safe, and compliant with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hiring.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification during employment is required.
