Tax Accountant

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Tax Accountant for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and file corporation tax returns, VAT submissions and statutory tax filings

Monitor tax legislation changes and advise management on their impact

Liaise directly with HMRC and other tax authorities on queries and investigations

Prepare detailed tax provisions, deferred tax calculations and supporting schedules

Support the year-end audit process with comprehensive tax workings and documentation

Identify and implement tax planning opportunities to optimise the group tax position

Requirements

4+ years of tax accounting experience in practice or industry

ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification is preferred or studying towards

Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax and VAT legislation

Excellent analytical skills and high accuracy in preparing complex tax calculations

Able to communicate technical tax matters clearly to non-specialist stakeholders
