About the Role
The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for various specialized duties pertaining to accounting.
Position Responsibilities
Monitors and audits inventory levels for retail, operating, supply and food and beverage items. Coordinates and performs month-end inventory counts.
Monitors Fixed Assets and corresponding depreciation levels.
Maintains financial reports, records and general ledgers.
Assists in month-end closing and analyzes GL accounts
Responsible for posting payments to accounts to create journal entries.
Responsible for maintaining fixed assets ledger and journal entry preparations.
Responsible for maintaining reports for month-end physical inventory.
Verifying daily credit card transactions and preparing deposits on miscellaneous income.
Assists in monthly preparation of financial statements, including bank reconciliation and journal entry.
