Project Summary & Overview

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage, retain, and grow strategic client relationships within Tennessee state government agencies and related public-sector organizations. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while driving customer satisfaction, technology adoption, account growth, and the development of long-term partnerships.

The Account Manager will collaborate closely with delivery teams, solution engineers, client representatives, and executive leadership to ensure the successful delivery of IT consulting, managed services, software solutions, digital transformation, and technology modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship management skills, public-sector experience, and the ability to identify opportunities that align client business objectives with Krasan's technology solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted client relationships to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular account reviews, client strategy sessions, and performance updates.
  • Ensure contract compliance and quality.
  • Develop relationships with executive leadership, procurement officials, program managers, and key stakeholders within Tennessee government organizations.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients regarding technology modernization initiatives and business transformation opportunities.

Account Growth and Strategy:

  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities aligned to client needs and strategic goals and share with Client Representatives for development.
  • Develop account plans and collaborate with sales, delivery, and marketing teams to execute.
  • Support capture management for RFPs, RFIs, and unsolicited proposals in both public and private sectors.
  • Identify opportunities within Tennessee state agencies for service expansion, contract growth, and new Statements of Work
  • Collaborate with Client Representatives to support pipeline development and opportunity qualification.
  • Support strategic account planning focused on revenue growth and client retention.

Solution Alignment:

  • Develop a strong understanding of client business objectives, operational challenges, and technology priorities to align Krasan solutions with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate discussions around IT modernization, compliance, emerging technologies, and risk mitigation.

Operational Excellence:

  • Work with service delivery teams to ensure high-quality project execution and SLA performance.
  • Track and report on KPIs such as client satisfaction scores, contract renewals, and revenue growth.
  • Maintain awareness of Tennessee state procurement policies, contract vehicles, and vendor management requirements.

Compliance and Contracts:

  • Maintain knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to customer and regulatory standards.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Public Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Success, Business Development, or Consulting.
  • Proven experience managing and growing client relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
  • Understanding of IT services, managed services, software solutions, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Tennessee State Government experience preferred.
  • Information Technology (IT) industry experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting public-sector clients and government organizations preferred.
  • Familiarity with Tennessee government procurement and contracting processes preferred.
  • Experience supporting RFP, RFQ, and proposal activities preferred.
  • PMP, ITIL, or related certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Pipedrive and/ or ClickUp.
