Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly.
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demonstrations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and confidence, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Upsell relevant products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain well-organized merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the store remains clean and inviting.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette or in person, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Support inventory management through stocking shelves, conducting product demos, and assisting with inventory counts when needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience with POS systems and cashiering is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer needs effectively.
• Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette are essential for engaging customers confidently.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory purposes.
• Experience in pizza stores or retail sales environments is desirable.
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail math will help you succeed in this role. Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
