Sage is on a mission to improve care and quality of life for older adults, starting with those residing in senior living facilities. Falls are the leading cause of injury-related death among adults over 65. And yet, fall prevention and emergency response systems for older adults are archaic and ineffective. At Sage we've built a more modern way of understanding when older adults need help, including methods for residents to alert caregivers when in need of help, and corresponding software for caregivers to triage response. Our company mission is to create a product that our client counterparts love, and this role is a key part of that objective.

Sage is a small, tight team of ambitious, multi-disciplinary entrepreneurs. We are a software-enabled, mission-driven company, and are focused only on the problems that are central to achieving that mission. At Sage, we work hard and fast but also know that to build a truly important company, we need to treat our work as a marathon, and not a sprint. The journey matters.

About this Role

Sage is seeking an Executive Assistant to support two members of our C-suite and company operations. This is not a traditional administrative role — we're looking for a proactive operator and trusted thought partner who can make sound, independent judgment calls on behalf of the executives they support, and who has already proven they can operate at this level in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

You will manage and optimize time, communications, and key operational workflows, while contributing to a seamless and thoughtful experience for employees, candidates, and external stakeholders. This role requires working at the office in Union Square every Tuesday–Thursday.

Some examples of the work you'll be doing on any given day include…

Support our C-Suite:

Provide dedicated support to two members of Sage's C-suite, anticipating needs and enabling them to focus on strategic priorities and company growth. Act as a trusted partner who brings structure, clarity, and foresight to daily operations — and who is comfortable making real-time decisions on their behalf when they're unavailable, rather than waiting for direction.

Manage complex calendars:

Own and optimize calendars by prioritizing, sequencing, and protecting time in alignment with company priorities. Proactively resolve conflicts, ensure meetings have clear purpose and context, and drive efficient use of time across both professional and personal commitments.

Travel Management:

Arrange seamless domestic travel, including end-to-end logistics, itineraries, and real-time problem solving to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.

Stakeholder Management Communications:

Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Manage communications with clarity and intention, including drafting correspondence, screening inquiries, and prioritizing responses while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and tone.

Manage projects:

Support and execute special projects as assigned, including research, event coordination, and operational initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement more efficient ways of working.

Collaborate with Recruiting:

Partner closely with the Recruiting team to coordinate executive interviews, ensuring a seamless and high-quality candidate experience. Manage scheduling, communication, and logistics with precision and care.

Maintain confidentiality:

Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment, maintaining the highest level of trust and professionalism.

Values-Driven Communication:

Act as a cultural ambassador in all interactions, embodying Sage's values through clear, thoughtful, and respectful communication with employees, candidates, and external partners.
