Description - Your Responsibilities

• Evaluate test results for precision, address and resolve errors, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff members or trainees, and contribute to maintaining superior lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health discipline, with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain your certification throughout your employment.
