OVERVIEW

Pharmacy Technician - per diem (PRN) position at PMS Central Pharmacy, Albuquerque, NM.

Competitive hourly rate.

Estimated Hourly Pay: $21.60 p/h

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers and take prescription orders
• Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
• Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
• Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
• Answer the phone
• Input customer information into the computer system

QUALIFICATIONS

• HS Diploma/GED required
• NM pharmacy technician license/registration
• Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months (VytlOne will assist)
• Computer experience mandatory
• Proven track record of exemplary customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual Spanish speaking skills highly preferred
• Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
