Junior Estimator - Landscaping

Center Cut Landscaping is seeking a Junior Estimator for our landscaping department to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Estimating: Assist in preparing accurate and competitive project estimates by gathering necessary data, analyzing project specifications, and evaluating materials and labor costs.
• Bid Documentation: Support the preparation of comprehensive bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns of project costs, timelines, and any special requirements.
• Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements, identify potential challenges, and gather essential information for accurate estimates.
• Vendor and Supplier Relations: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior estimators, project managers, and other team members to ensure the smooth transition from estimation to project execution.
• Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and techniques to provide informed recommendations during the estimating process.
• Cost Analysis: Assist in analyzing project costs and recommending cost-saving measures wherever possible.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in landscape design, horticulture, or a related field is a plus.
• 2 years of experience
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimation software (experience with landscaping software is a plus).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and industry advancements.
• A passion for landscaping and an eye for detail.
