Dispatcher / Customer Experience Coordinator
A Plus Home Services – Anchorage, AK
The Role

At A Plus Home Services, our dispatcher is the hub of the wheel. You'll be the connection between our customers, technicians, excavation crews, management team, and office staff. Every day is different, and your ability to keep things organized, communicate clearly, and think on your feet will help keep our operation running smoothly.
This isn't just answering phones. It's coordinating moving pieces, solving scheduling challenges, supporting customers, and helping our field teams succeed.
Schedule
- Winter Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Summer Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
No weekends. No overnight shifts.
Customer Communication
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers with scheduling services
- Provide updates on appointments and technician arrival times
- Handle customer questions professionally and efficiently
- Create a positive experience from the first phone call to the completed job
Scheduling & Dispatching
- Coordinate daily schedules for service technicians and field crews
- Assign jobs and adjust routes to maximize efficiency
- Monitor job progress throughout the day
- Respond to schedule changes and unexpected situations as they arise
- Assist with emergency and priority service requests
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate customer records and job documentation
- Generate invoices and assist with accounts receivable activities
- Update job statuses within our software systems
- Support office operations and team projects as needed
Team Coordination
- Work closely with technicians, management, vendors, and office staff
- Help ensure jobs are completed efficiently and customers remain informed
- Serve as a central communication point for multiple departments

Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with dispatching or scheduling
- Experience in service-based industries (HVAC, septic, excavation, plumbing, etc.)
- Familiarity with Service Fusion or similar dispatch software
- Basic bookkeeping, invoicing, or accounts receivable experience
- Knowledge of septic systems, excavation, or construction operations
