Function:
The Manager of Capital Investments & Contracts is responsible for managing capital expenditure efforts that require coordination between the Design and Construction department and other internal and external stakeholders for a real estate investment trust with an investment portfolio of more than 150 hotel assets. Core functions include personnel management, contract management, process management, corporate compliance, reporting, and enterprise information systems administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the contract administration for capital projects, including the review and preparation of contracts, monitoring contract compliance, and the review and processing of invoices.
Oversee contract negotiation, providing assistance to project managers and acting as the liaison with the internal legal department.
Be an e-Builder and Yardi system “Super User,” which includes inputting data, troubleshooting, and maintaining data integrity.
Process management and improvement.
Assist with enterprise capital expenditure budget monitoring and provide in-depth financial analysis.
Lead in training internal and external stakeholders to include 3rd party project managers and property management entities in relation to renovation and maintenance capital expenditure processes.
