Forensic Social Worker - Dynamic Advocacy Role

The Federal Public Defender's Office is seeking a dedicated and dynamic full-time social worker to join our team. This role requires significant travel across various locations, including Los Angeles, Riverside, and Santa Ana, to provide essential client-centered advocacy and case management for individuals facing legal challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to assess their needs and develop tailored case management plans.
• Offer support and advocacy throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with legal teams to provide insights that can assist in case preparation.
• Conduct home and community visits as necessary to gather information and provide support.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions and services provided.

Qualifications:

• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.
• Experience in forensic social work is essential.
• Strong ability to travel extensively for client meetings and court appearances.
• Ability to work effectively in an office environment while managing a dynamic caseload.
