About the Role: Central Moloney is seeking a Welder/Metal Fab Inspector to clean, inspect, and repair transformer tanks removed from the line, including post-weld cleanup and repair work. This role plays a key part in making sure every tank meets our quality and safety standards before it moves forward in the production process.
What You’ll Do:
Perform cleaning and preparation of tanks removed from the line
Conduct post-weld cleanup and repairs on tanks and components
Inspect welds for defects and ensure compliance with company quality standards
Use hand tools safely and effectively to complete cleaning, repair, and inspection tasks
Identify and correct weld and surface issues prior to tanks moving forward in production
Maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections completed
Promote and follow safety standards throughout the welding and fabrication environment
Collaborate with welding and production teams to keep work moving efficiently
Other duties as assigned
