Position: Overnight Housekeeper - The Fillmore Detroit

Job Summary

US Concerts is seeking an Overnight Maintenance Staff Member to keep our venues show‑ready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including cleaning and disinfecting all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms; keeping all guest-facing areas free of trash; and restocking restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed to ensure the venue is ready for the next show.
  • Maintain work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment, and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program, such as sorting waste, collecting recycling, and educating fans about sustainability efforts.
  • Collaborate with team members after shows to close the venue, including collecting recyclables from reserved sections and properly storing event equipment such as chairs and barricades.
  • Perform basic machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting skills to repair production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Perform plumbing and carpentry maintenance functions as needed.
  • Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment appropriately.
  • Detect faulty operations or defective materials and report them, along with any unusual situations, to proper supervision.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent education and production maintenance experience.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs. or more and occasional sitting.
