In your capacity as a General Warehouse Laborer at Aramark, you are instrumental in the efficient reception, organization, and distribution of goods. Your core duties include supporting warehouse operations by managing inventory, facilitating order preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications for General Warehouse Labor:

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED is recommended
• Preferred candidates will have at least two years of warehouse experience
• Basic literacy, writing, and numerical skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate equipment with good manual dexterity
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently handle items up to 35 lbs
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on location, with a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check conducted

Physical Demands for General Warehouse Labor:

This position may entail:

• Extended periods of walking and standing
• Regular lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling activities
• Wearing uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety regulations

Job Responsibilities for General Warehouse Labor:

• Inspect, identify, and label incoming goods; report discrepancies between shipments and invoices
• Manage perishable items using the FIFO method for inventory rotation
• Operate manual or electric pallet jacks and forklifts after proper training
• Pick, assemble, and organize inventory to fulfill product, supply, and equipment orders
• Load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse or to client locations using carts or powered equipment
• Perform scheduled inventory counts accurately
• Maintain detailed records including inventory logs, temperature checks, spoilage reports, and equipment inspections
• Keep warehouse areas clean and organized, including restrooms, break rooms, loading docks, and elevated platforms
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, SDS guidelines, and emergency procedures
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times
• Protect company and client assets
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, coworkers, vendors, and guests
• Attend meetings and perform additional tasks as assigned
