Clinic Registered Nurse

In a clinical setting, the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality care to patients and works closely with physicians or APP providers to ensure an efficient and safe clinic environment. This is achieved through the meticulous adherence to defined clinical processes and established protocols. The Clinic RN may also be involved in administrative duties, such as comparing and consolidating information from various healthcare documents like patient records, physician notes, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans.

Essential Job Function:

• Evaluates clinical practices, protocols, and systems to ensure consistency with institutional guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Provides direct patient care; conducts comprehensive assessments, administers medications and treatments, and monitors patients' conditions to ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Manages and critiques the efforts of subordinate professionals, imparting guidance, assessments, and motivation to ensure top-notch care provision and career development.
• Partners with interdisciplinary teams to synchronize patient care activities, streamline communication processes, and uphold care consistency within different healthcare settings.
• Undertakes further duties as instructed.

Education:

• Required: Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Licensure/Certification/Listing:

• Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
