Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and their teams to achieve district goals and deliver consistent performance.
Oversee site preformance for Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania area
Build a strong leadership bench by identifying, developing, and promoting high-potential talent within the district.
Conduct regular store visits to provide coaching, support, and accountability to Store Managers.
Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on guest experience, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Sales & Financial Performance
Own the P&L for all stores in the district and drive sales growth across retail, fuel, and foodservice categories.
Analyze sales trends, identify opportunities, and implement action plans to improve revenue and profitability.
Monitor and control labor, shrink, and operating expenses to meet or exceed budget targets.
Partner with Store Managers to develop and execute local sales and promotional strategies.
Operational Excellence
Ensure all locations consistently meet company standards for customer service, cleanliness, merchandising, and safety.
Drive compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and fuel handling procedures.
Identify operational gaps and implement solutions to improve efficiency and guest experience across the district.
Talent & Culture
Lead the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of Store Managers within the district.
Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development for direct reports.
Build a culture of accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement.
Requirements & Qualifications:
3–5+ years of multi-unit retail or restaurant management experience (District Manager or equivalent strongly preferred).
Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving profitability across multiple locations.
Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to analyze financial reports and drive performance through data.
Willingness to travel frequently within the district and work flexible hours, including weekends.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience in convenience store, travel center, or QSR environments is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Frequent travel within the assigned district.
Fast-paced, multi-site leadership role.
Interaction with Store Managers, corporate leadership, and field teams.
