THE ROLE
We are seeking a senior, single-threaded Program Manager to own network capacity management and near term capacity enabling initiatives. This role is responsible for maximizing the utilization of our fulfillment network, refining capacity and throughput models, and leading high impact operational programs tied to delivery speed, predictability, and the enablement of key commercial objectives. This leader will operate at a strategic and executional level, translating complex data into clear decisions, aligning senior stakeholders, and driving measurable outcomes across the network.
This role requires deep analytical rigor, strong systems thinking, and the ability to influence across Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain, Product, and Technology. The Sr. Program Manager will be recognized as a subject matter expert in capacity strategy and will own programs that materially impact cost, service, and growth. This is a specialist role, not a generalist PM function — the successful candidate will own the logic, frameworks, and models that others in the organization rely on to operate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Capacity strategy ownership: Define and own the end-to-end capacity management strategy across the fulfillment network, including storage, labor, and throughput constraints.
Logic and framework ownership: Own the logic layer of capacity management — including the decision rules, slotting frameworks, replenishment logic, and analytical models that others across the organization rely on to plan and operate.
Model development and refinement: Build and continuously improve capacity, throughput, and scenario models to inform near-term and long-range planning decisions. Models should be independently built and maintained by this role, not delegated.
Program leadership: Lead complex, cross-functional capacity initiatives with significant business impact, including changes to customer promise and other major operating levers.
Decision support: Translate analytical insights into clear recommendations for senior leadership, balancing cost, service, risk, and scalability.
Network optimization: Identify and prioritize high-leverage opportunities to unlock latent capacity through process changes, tooling, policy adjustments, or reconfiguration.
Automation and capital projects: Partner with Engineering and Operations on automation initiatives and CapEx-backed projects; provide analytical grounding for investment decisions and ensure operational integration is planned and executed effectively.
Execution oversight: Partner with Operations and corporate teams to ensure capacity programs are implemented effectively and deliver intended results.
Stakeholder alignment: Create strong operating mechanisms, forums, and narratives that align diverse teams around shared capacity goals and trade-offs.
Measurement and accountability: Define success metrics, track performance against plan, and hold teams accountable for outcomes that impact the broader network.
QUALIFICIATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience consistent with a senior-level role.
Direct fulfillment center experience, including hands-on ownership of slotting and replenishment logic in an operational environment — not adjacent supply chain or logistics planning roles.
Experience working with automation systems and robotics platforms, including familiarity with the technical and operational constraints they introduce.
Demonstrated ability to independently build capacity, labor, and throughput models from the ground up — not consume or inherit models built by others.
Experience with CapEx planning and automation investment decisions, including business case development and project execution oversight.
Proficiency with large, complex operational datasets; ability to structure, clean, and draw conclusions from raw data without analyst support. Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills required; SQL or Python a strong plus.
Demonstrated experience leading large, ambiguous, cross-functional programs with material business impact.
