Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with menu planning and develop new dish ideas to enhance our offerings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to safety standards in production
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
  • Support food preparation activities including slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
  • Ensure timely delivery of meals to customers or service stations while maintaining presentation quality
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times
  • Follow all safety protocols related to food safety management and workplace safety regulations
  • Assist with catering events or special meal preparations as needed

Skills

  • Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, catering, or dietary departments
  • Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife handling
  • Knowledge of dietary aide practices and dietary department experience is a plus
  • Ability to plan menus and execute meal preparation efficiently
  • Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and safety regulations in production environments
  • Excellent food service skills with a focus on serving guests promptly and professionally
  • Experience with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills
