Role: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) responsible for assisting in implementing patient treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence.
Responsibilities: Set up therapy equipment, guide patients through exercises, monitor progress, document treatment details, educate patients and caregivers, collaborate with healthcare team, maintain a safe environment, and support discharge planning.
Qualifications & Skills: Valid PTA license, current BLS certification, strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and technical skills. Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients, effective communication, and ability to work under supervision and pressure.
Key Duties: Assist with therapeutic activities, observe and report patient performance, ensure safety and hygiene standards, and participate in professional development.
