TRAVEL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Job Description:
Provide occupational therapy services at a facility with a 28-bed IRF and a 383-bed acute care hospital. Serve patients in both IRF and acute care settings with a focus on evaluation, treatment, discharge, team conferences, and family training. Use therapy gyms and adaptive equipment for patient care. Must have flexibility for weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions and create tailored care plans.
- Conduct treatments and provide discharge planning.
- Participate in team conferences and family training sessions.
- Utilize adaptive devices and adaptive equipment effectively.
Requirements:
- Active OT license and active BLS certification.
- Flexibility to work weekends and on the IRF unit.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills.
- Experience in hospital/IRF and stroke/neuro patient care is highly preferred.
