Position Details

  • Assignment Duration: August 31, 2026 – June 15, 2027
  • Weekly Commitment: 35–37.5 hours, five days per week
  • Caseload: Preschool-aged students
  • Setting: Onsite only

Desired Background & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with preschoolers, is highly valued
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized therapy plans
  • Commitment to collaborative teamwork with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for preschool students
  • Develop and deliver direct interventions tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state standards
  • Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress
  • Provide support and resources to families and staff regarding communication development and strategies
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to overall student success
  • SLPAs are not included in this position
