Position Details
- Assignment Duration: August 31, 2026 – June 15, 2027
- Weekly Commitment: 35–37.5 hours, five days per week
- Caseload: Preschool-aged students
- Setting: Onsite only
Desired Background & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with preschoolers, is highly valued
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized therapy plans
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for preschool students
- Develop and deliver direct interventions tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state standards
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress
- Provide support and resources to families and staff regarding communication development and strategies
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to overall student success
- SLPAs are not included in this position
