The Staff Nurse provides specialized nursing care, incorporating biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with a family-centered approach, ensuring physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs are met for patients of all ages.
They perform leadership duties, support quality improvement, and mentor clinical staff, promoting collaboration and excellent customer service.
Technical skills required include strong communication, organizational abilities, teamwork, and familiarity with electronic medical records (preferably EPIC).
Education includes a BSN (or obtaining within 5 years), RN licensure in Ohio, and Basic Life Support certification. Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred. Part-time, onsite role working 24 hours/week, days 7a-730p.
